MEQ – New Partnership Announcement

December 2015 - HumEng International is proud to announce that it has recently entered into a major partnership with the Manufacturers and Exporters of Québec (“Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Québec (MEQ)”). The objective of the partnership is to support the development of the technical competencies of employees in the manufacturing sector. One of the offerings of HumEng and the MEQ will be workshops for members on how to improve the competency development and management process.

Quebec companies must become more productive and competitive in order to take advantage of present and emerging world markets. We all know that an essential ingredient to increased productivity is competent employees, but workforce development is a huge challenge for manufacturers, who are already facing a shortage of qualified workers.

The Quebec manufacturing sector will have access to HumEng’s blended learning solutions, to the expertise of its School Boards partnerships, and to its impressive eLearning library, composed primarily of maintenance, operations and health and safety content.

The MEQ is the fastest growing business association in Québec, increasing from 250 to 800 members in the past year. It is also the most pertinent and effective association for manufacturers and exporters, because it focuses on their three biggest challenges: workforce, innovation and export. The MEQ is a new force in Quebec.
